Passion project alert 🚨🚨🚨!!!

I co-started a compostable trash bag company.

One day my next door neighbor Livio Bisterzo - who is the entrepreneur behind the delicious snack brand hippeas - wandered into my kitchen and says, “what else could I do? ”At that exact moment, I happened to be in the process of losing a wrestling match with an exploding trash bag and across the room my wife mutters,

“Well, those suck”.

Thus began a lovely partnership between Livio (the brains), me (the creative), and Derek & Eric (the design). Together, we made compostable bags good enough to win the 2023 Fast Company Innovation by Design Award.

I wore many hats: Brand Strategy, Creative Direction, Content Creation, Design Director and somebody had to name the product and write the words on the box and the bag, and that somebody was me.
