TwitchDJ Festival

Twitch was built for DJs. Copyright Law wasn't. After years of licensing hurdles, Twitch struck deals with Universal, Warner, Sony, and hundreds of indie labels in 2024, making legal DJ livestreaming a reality.

To celebrate Twitch threw a party: We created 8.08 (for July 8, the day of the festival) the first global streaming DJ festival, live on Twitch, spinning all day, closing with an IRL blowout in Brooklyn.
